After the last committee meeting in April 2024, we focused entirely on preparing for the new election of the second committee in May. Interested individuals could either register online as candidates or directly approach the project management and volunteers to nominate themselves for the election. Fortunately, several engaged speakers from the first committee ran again.
Throughout May, photo shoots with the candidates took place at BUNT. The resulting images were used for election posters, which were displayed in the accommodations. In early June, with the help of volunteer election assistants from the accommodations, elections were held in all five facilities.
These elections were always lively and diverse events, attracting many curious residents. The candidates were nervous, and the residents were excited about the results. Everyone eagerly followed the process, drinking tea and providing snacks for the election helpers, while children enjoyed the lively presence and were curious about what was happening.
